How it works

Each name is looked up the same way as our single domain checker: status straight from the registry using RDAP, and history from the Internet Archive. If a lookup fails we say so rather than guess. "No record" usually means a name can be registered, but always confirm with a registrar. For names already on their way out, browse the expired domains list or just dropped names.
