Why one-word names

A single real word is the easiest kind of name to remember, and often matches what people search for. Most one-word .com names have been taken for decades, but one-word names in other extensions, and longer or less common words, drop every day.

What to look for

Check the Other TLDs column: a word taken in many extensions is usually wanted by others. Use the language filter in More filters to find one-word names in German, French, Spanish and 17 other languages.

Names come only from the registries' own lists and zone files, never from other expired-domain sites.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still get a one-word domain?

Yes. One-word names drop every day, especially in country extensions such as .co.uk, .se and .it. This list shows every one we track, best first.

Are one-word domains worth more?

Usually. Our quality score, and the value estimate built on it, gives a single word a boost, and short names more. Check the Value column for our estimate.
